In this post, I will demonstrate that you would be hard-pressed to find a gayer straight man than Bruce Wayne.
In the 1950s a psychiatrist by the name of Fredric Wertham wrote a book called, "Seduction of the Innocent", where the topic was subtle sexual themes in comic books. As a result of this book being written, parents became very concerned about their children and in response the comic book industry created the CCA ( Comics Code Authority), which would control the content in comic books.
What does this have to do with Batman, you might ask? Well, Fredric Wertham had this to say about the Batman comics.
"The Batman type of story may stimulate children to homosexual fantasies, of the nature of which they may be unconscious" and "Only someone ignorant of the fundamentals of psychiatry and of the psychopathology of sex can fail to realize a subtle atmosphere of homoeroticism which pervades the adventures of the mature 'Batman' and his young friend Robin."
Because of this and the new CCA guidelines, they had to prove Batman wasn't homosexual. This is how Batwoman came into creation.
Why did Fredric Wertham think Bruce was gay? It might have something to do with the following. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so allow me to show you a couple thousand.
So, is my reason for disliking Batman because he isn't 'gay' enough for me. Oh no. It doesn't get much gayer than Batman. Actually, I don't dislike Batman at all. I'm just angry at him for this:

My main beef with Batman is that he's a cold, seemingly unfeeling asshole toward the heroes who are not A-Listers. Even the way he announced Ted's death was cruel.
I know Bruce has feelings and I also know that he doesn't wear them on his sleeve, but COME ON! A large part of why Ted died is because of him, and that's how he handles it?
Shame on you, Bruce. Shame on you!
